I am newer to the School Board and am excited to be a part of White Pigeon Community Schools family.  I grew up in Essexville, MI, graduated from Garber High School and Delta College and lived there until 5 years ago.  I had been a Dental Assistant for over 25 years before moving, and I now teach Dental Assisting at Ross in Granger, IN.  My son, Jack is a junior this year and my daughter, Meredith graduated in 2011.  I am the secretary of the WPCA and a member of the Parish Council at St. Joseph's church.  I worked on the sinking fund committee last year and enjoyed meeting other parents and community members that have such a love for this school system.  In my off time, I enjoy my pool, making wine with friends, and my children and pets.

It's been a pleasure serving on the WPCS Board of Education for the past two years.  The changes and growth we've experienced are a testament to the hardworking people of our community who believe our children are our future.
I am the proud parent of two Central Elementary students. My work experience includes purchasing, bill of material writing, customer service, sales, and an elementary aide position.  I've had several years of volunteer experience with White Pigeon Parks and Rec, Central Parent Organization , and two YES campaigns.

I was raised in a small community in upstate New York and moved to the mid-west in 1986.  My husband, Steve Post and I moved to White Pigeon in 2009 to begin our family farm.  When our daughter began school in 2012 we chose to have her attend Central Elementary because we believed that is where she would receive a quality education.  My work experience in the Elkhart Schools and for the last 15 years as a counselor at Northridge Middle School in Middlebury has made me appreciate the educational community and all it can do for the broader community.  I enjoy reading in my spare time and have served on the White Pigeon Library board for the past year.

It is an honor to be entering my first year as a member of the White Pigeon Board of Education. I am a 2000 graduate of White Pigeon High School. For the last 8 years I have served as the White Pigeon Township Fire Chief. I began my career as Cadet with the department in 1998 while still attending High School. I am employed fulltime by Semco Energy as a Gas Mechanic. I married my wife, Heather in 2003 and we have 2 wonderful children. Our daughter Abbi is 7 and in first grade and our son Carson is 5 and in kindergarten. Our family enjoys vacationing in the south during spring break, camping during the summer months, bicycle rides and attending motorcycle flat track racing events.

I look forward to helping our district reach our goals and seeing that our students get the opportunity that they deserve. Once a Chief, always a Chief!
